Telling Travel Tales - 2024

When Autumn 2022 arrived in the Northern Hemisphere, we headed home to New Zealand and our third consecutive summer. As a summer person, that, coupled with the fact we had airline credit which needed to be redeemed within a year, made leaving bearable. We knew we'd be back. And here we are, summer number 4, hotter and sunnier than anything Auckland had to offer this time around. Travelling again and loving it.

Telling Travel Tales - 2022

There was a time a couple of years ago, when I thought I'd never travel again. I was happy to be locked-down in Auckland's Waitakere Ranges, it felt like a haven. But incrementally our bubble began to constrict and become more like a prison, albeit a beautiful one. As soon as it was possible - and possibly sooner than we should have - we ventured out. First the North Island, then the South, then half way around the world to the UK. Here we go, telling travel tales again.
